I think it is about time we review our drug treatment policies, I have been a long term user of 18 years I’m 32 years old and methodone treatments have not been successful, I have heart arrhythmia triggered now which is caused by high dose methodone.
It’s time we start to seek this alternative treatment which is proven successful in our sister country United Kingdom, also proven successful in Switzerland since 1994, Belgium, Germany and Netherlands have also adopted the treatment program.
It’s proven to get the addict back into employment and improve life rather than spending it chasing drugs on the street and feeling sick all day!
